Scam, Indian accent said they were from PayPal, there was a payment to Netflix. When I asked what bank was attached to the account, they got it wrong and when I said I don’t bank with them they hung up.
I received a call from a person with a heavy Indian accent, who claimed to be representing PayPal. This raised concerns about the legitimacy of the call.
The caller claimed to be from Amazon and said there was an overseas transaction that required cancellation. They requested that I download an app for screen sharing in order to cancel the order. It felt like an obvious scam from the beginning, but the caller became angry when I refused to comply.
I received a call from this number, and the person on the line claimed she was an employee of Commonwealth Bank. I believe this is a scam.

An Indian man called, introducing himself as my NBN provider. When I asked for my name, he provided a random one. I confronted him about being a scammer, and he promptly hung up.
