A woman, possibly with an Indian accent, has called me for the past 6-7 days claiming there is an IP issue with my Telstra connection and that my computer is at risk. This is surprising since I do not have Telstra or internet service at my location. It’s clear this is a scam, and I recommend avoiding or blocking this number.
I answered this number twice. After a significant delay, a male voice came on, simply saying "Hi," followed by laughter and the sounds of others giggling in the background. The call was then abruptly terminated from their side.
An Indian caller claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank, saying that they had flagged an unauthorized transaction of $900 related to a relative's surgery in California. I let the caller talk for a while but ultimately decided to hang up on him.
Scammer. Indian man telling me my credit card was being used in another country. I asked him to tell me what my name is, and he hung up immediately.

These are scammers. They called me saying that they are from Amazon Prime and an $99 will be direct debited from my account as some scammers did it. To stop that, I need to give them a pin, select some link on my email which I did. Then they want me to install an App so that they can get Remote Access to my phone and stop direct debit. I laughed and said you are the scammer and said some harsh words and then disconnected the call.
Just had a phone call from these scammers about telling me my National Broadband Network was going to be switched off I was a wake up to these mongrels old trick now been going for years.
