I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. Their claims were absurd and seemed completely fake.

This number is being used to spoof from a call centre in India to scam people. The level of noise in the background is what lead me to that conclusion in conjunction with "I am calling from your broadband company" which is so vague it makes it obvious.

Additionally the person on the other end got aggressively defensive telling me to go F**K my self, die, etc.

Once again confirming that this is a scam.

Had a call from a lady with accent saying she is from Cyber Security that 3 people from 3 different countries are using my computer something about IP number. Being computer illiterate I told her I didn't understand I think it's a scam.. Wanted me to look on my laptop I said I wasn't near it.& don't understand. Again I said I think she is a scam & to give me phone number so as my son could help her when he came home. With that she hung up.

I have a rule of not answering calls from numbers I don't recognize. If they don't leave a message, I know it's spam, and I lay the blame on Sensis for this issue as well.

I received a phone call from this number offering a very low mortgage rate, but when I asked for their website information, they refused to provide it. They said all the details would be sent in an email only after I signed up. When I pressed for more information before agreeing, the call suddenly disconnected. This feels very suspicious and like a scam to me.
