What Our Users Reviewed
The caller hung up immediately as soon as I answered the call. Based on this behavior, I suspect it was a scam attempt.
The caller claimed to be from Amazon, stating that there was a verification process for a $1200 order on my account. They hung up when I mentioned that I do not have an Amazon account.
This caller claimed to be from PayPal, warning me that someone was allegedly using my account. They requested that I download an app to allow them access to my phone, which seemed very suspicious.
The caller stated that my account had been accessed and prompted me to press a number to resolve the supposed issue. This sounds like a phishing attempt.
The call rang through, and when I responded, a recording began claiming it was a security message stating that unauthorized funds had been taken from my account. It instructed me to press 1 for assistance, which raised alarms for me as a potential scam.
This number appears to be just another scammer. It's frustrating to deal with such nefarious individuals!

Their Rang to tell me my Visa MasterCard had been debited $900 on bitcoin account and they wanted me press 1 to cancel this transaction or press 2 to approve - an operator will help you though this transaction.
Caller claiming to be from Amazon linked to the Australian Government Cyber Security website. Yeah, as if! The story was that someone was either accessing my Amazon account, or they were using my name, phone number and other details to create a fake account to purchase an iPhone 13. Apparently the caller, from “Amazon”, was unable to tell if it was my account or a fake one. I was asked if I had made the purchase and if not did I want them to cancel the purchase, as they were certain it wasn’t me. Apparently, though they couldn’t tell if I had an Amazon account or not, the scammer from “Amazon”, could tell that someone was hacking my IP address and they were overseas. I got bored with listening to the fast talking scammer, who seemed to get more excited as I continued to listen to his BS story. I hung up and blocked the number. They then tried to call me from the following numbers, which I have now also blocked: 0459 091 342; 08 6383 6720. The trouble is that the numbers look legit, with the 03 9123 1017 number from Melbourne and the 08 6383 6720 supposed to be from Perth.
Scam Caller, automated male voice message, claiming to be from Amazon (a place I don't shop from) regarding my iPhone 11 (a phone I don't have) and a massive charge. Hung up after 20 seconds.
