The number used matches one listed on the Roy Morgan website. The survey requested a concerning amount of personal information. I’ve reached out to Roy Morgan to verify whether this was a scam and to see if someone had spoofed their number.
This call was from Roy Morgan, conducting a survey to collect data.
The caller sounded legitimate and had an English accent. He wanted me to participate in a 30-minute survey for Morgan Gallup. However, I don’t typically do surveys, so I ended the conversation quickly. The caller thanked me politely before hanging up very quickly.
I have received an astonishing 14 calls from this number in just 2 days! There is a hidden link on their website to remove your phone number from their records, but it feels extremely frustrating and intrusive.
