    Person saying they were calling about weather seal upgrade. I repeatedly asked the name of their business and he refused and ultimately hung up on me. I was wanting the business name so I could report them because I am on the do not call register. Hate that they have my name too.

    Roy Morgan researcher previously called me from another line, which I blocked. Obviously they don't get the hint and used another line (this number). Not solicited and not interested but they don't get the message.

    Called just after 8pm I didn't answer as I was busy and thought had to be a scammer calling this time of night. They left a voice mail saying their name and from roy morgan research, no need to return the call some colleague will call back in a couple days. Also a Melbourne number when I'm living in NSW cant be anything but scam to me.

    Just keeps calling everyday from the same number range 00613912209xx.

    As I don't know anyone living anywhere near there (Melbourne) it doesn't get answered.

    I've never answered and have blocked the number, but still they won't give up. They call even at the weekend. If they'd get a life it would be good.

    Something on my voice mail about a survey, it's spam, won't stop calling. Don't answer, have blocked number but they tend to call from multiple ones.

    This number and similar variations of it always call after 6:30 pm. Months go by where they don't call then I get calls daily for weeks. Always different companies or people conducting surveys. Since I don't know anyone with an 03 number I just reject the calls and add to the block list.

    Caller: was a Female Indian accent. Said she was doing research/survey for a Medical Hospital wanted to know who is in our household. I said I was off to work couldn’t talk. Than she said can I call you Friday or the weekend. She was very polite on the phone straight to the point. But I’m not familiar with surveys been conducted on weekends ? or maybe I’m getting Dementia ... Scam.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
