My brother in law received a call, supposedly from Telstra telling him he had been hacked and to ring 0391075000. He did not really understand what the woman was telling him as his second language is English and he worried all night that his telephone was not secure. Yet another rotten scam to worry the elderly.

Just received similar call from "Rosie Wilson" she gave me Telstra ID D145800 and told me I could call her on 0391075000. Told me they received and entry in their log about my Internet not being secure. Said I did not believe them and I thought it was a scam. Told them I am not with Telstra and she said yes I know. She told me that Telstra supplied all of the internet services for Australia. I asked her what my account number was and she replied that she isn't accounts department but technical. She hung up in the long run.

Just over these people.
