Calling to sell home insulation.
Calling to have an IHD device connected to my electricity meter. This is an initiative by the Victorian Government. The caller could not answer a simple question: Who employs you? Are you employed by the Vic Govt, by a call centre contractor, or by one of the accredited providers? They also had a very old address for me, and all levels of govt have my current address.
I would suggest this is a scam.
Picked up, busy noise in the background like a call centre. Called me by name and was offering something in my previous state where I used to live. Electricity or solar panels I don't know. Time Waster.
Trying to give you a “free device” to monitor home appliances. Sounds like a telemarketing scam.
Telemarketing scam. Robot asking to press 9 to prevent future calls. Do not press anything. Ended the call and blocked the number.
