I received another nuisance call about a Victorian government power saver device, which I found to be intrusive.
I received a call asking if I had received a power saver device. I’ve had six similar calls in the last month, all from slight variations of the same phone number (only the last digit changes). I have been blocking each number as I get these calls.
The caller had an Indian accent and informed me that they would be installing new energy-saving fan covers and LED lights as part of a government scheme. Please be cautious, as they might claim to know your name to gain your trust.
I missed a call from this Victorian number, and they left no message. I suspect this could be a spoofed number trying to disguise its real identity until I get confirmation otherwise.
