    Tried calling +61390873643 back using dingtone server busy. This maybe due to a scam baiter call flooding their scam phone number. Which I might have a go at myself They called twice telguarder app blocked the second call as I blocked them after 1st call in telguarder.

    Didn't answer, did not know the number, they did not leave a message, therefore I have blocked the number and have to assume they are scammers.

    Barely able to understand the scammer, telling me there are free shower head replacements and some sort of energy measuring thing? Very hard to understand and hung up immediately and rudely when I said I don't want new heads.

    When I dialed the Number got a message "Optus advises that the number has been disconnected" so I would think that it is a scam.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
