Scammers spoofing phone number. If you block them, they ring back on a similar number. Don't answer. Often these calls come to ascertain whether your number is active.. If you answer, or it rings, they know it's in working order and will on-sell your contact number to Indian call centres. Telcos must do more to stop this!!!!!

Today, I received two calls from numbers starting with the prefix 03 9087. I ignored both calls initially, but out of curiosity, I called them back. Unfortunately, both numbers (03) 9087 3630 and (03) 9087 3629 are not connected and do not seem to be in service.
