Silenced and missed call. No message left which is a sign it’s a scam caller. It may be a spoofed number, I’ve no way to tell without calling it. So just blocking it. There needs to be a way for businesses to protect their phone numbers from being spoofed in this marketplace. The blocked numbers list on my ph is ridiculous.
This is a scam number, do not call it.
Just got a text from a number claiming to be Westpac and that I've set up a new recipient and if it wasn't me I should call +610390687804... Looks like a scam and smells like a scam.
I received a scam SMS from the number 0481 138 194 claiming to be from Westpac. The message stated that I set up a new recipient on 10/02 at 4:01:05, and if this wasn't me, I should call (03) 9068 7804. It's suspicious since I haven't had a Westpac account in over five years!
I suspect this number is associated with a scam targeting Westpac customers. I did not answer the call and am cautious about it.
I received a text message instructing me to call this number to confirm a new payee. However, I don’t have an account with Bendigo Bank, which raises suspicions of a scam.
