I unfortunately was scammed out of $50,000 by these criminals, and I am determined to track them down and seek justice.
This number is impersonating HSBC and requesting that I call them back, which raises suspicion about their legitimacy.
Robotic call asking if its a good time to call, something about Covid.
Said he was from Business Australia.
Robot male voice asking if it’s the right time to call. It was trying to get me saying yes. I played the birthday song until it eventually hanged up.
I've also been getting calls about QR codes and if I'm using them, I suspect this is a scam, they are trying to record you saying the word "YES" so they can sign you up to services, etc.. Using voice identification, do not say anything when they call, I have also blocked this number, the government do NOT contact people in this way, especially not its citizens.
I've just been getting calls from this number regarding QR codes and so forth. But I have been ignoring this number as I have no idea whom they are.
This is an automated government call (I assume) regarding QR codes/making sure businesses are using them. Not sure why it came through to my mobile as it is not a business number. Could be some kind of scam.
