Ok so I got an e-mail just now saying my ad was confirmed but no sms to activate it, maybe the questions I asked the operator got their attention, but as always don't give out ANY details if they start asking for bank details, all this operator asked for was the car make and model and the area so I am going to file this under a call made by someone on behalf of the trading pst, but as always ask them questions if you don't know them :) have fun!

I too have just received a call claiming to be from the trading post, in order to have my ad posted they just wanted to confirm the make and model of the car how much I posted it for and the area I lived in not my address, they said they will forward me an sms with a confirmation link now they have confirmed that the ad is going to be posted and I will need to clicky that link, I am always dubious when receiving calls and always check up on them, I will let you know where this link takes me when I check it.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Trading Post using this number (03 9067 7588). They mentioned the ad that I had just posted a few minutes prior and said that I will be receiving a text message to confirm my number and that I am to click on the link in the text message. I looked over the Trading Post website to see if they said anything about receiving calls and I couldn't find anything so this may be a fraud attempt.
