Yet another call from people "informing you that tomorrow you'll be getting exhaust fan covers under the State Government Initiative".
Called me 4 f*king times and still keeps calling. Had to block it. They refuse the leave a message but by the volume of complaints here it’s obvious it’s a scammer. Worst one yet as they wouldn’t F*king stop!
This call went to message bank and I heard all the sounds of an Indian call centre. No English. As if he did not know he hadn’t hung up yet.
So.. Scam an unwanted call.
Called 4 times after hours mid week.
- First Two times: missed call and no voicemail message left.
- Third time: I answered and nobody was on the other end.
- Fourth time: I answered and it was clearly a call centre. The person on the other line asked if I had installed my energy saving device yet.
This is not necessarily a scam, but I definitely don’t have a utilities account, or an asset in my name such as a house or business, which would make me eligible for anything they are trying to offer.
They did not ask for me by name, nor did they say where they were calling from.
I mentioned that I think they might have called the wrong person, and before I finished my sentence they already hung up.
This number has called me and my husband a number of times over the past week but we didn’t answer as the other times have had a different number digit on the end of the number - Beware scam.
