03 9063 4569 - Scam Caller Preying on Victims with Solar Panel Claims

A government panel called but hung up as soon as I mentioned that I live in a ground-floor apartment. The caller had a typical Indian accent, and I could hear someone speaking another language in the background.

This number has called me every day for the past eight days. I picked up twice, but both times they hung up immediately after I answered. When I attempted to call the number back, I received a message that said the call was disconnected. I am really frustrated with this constant harassment.

This number called me, and although I typically do not answer calls from unrecognized numbers, I picked up this time but didn’t say anything before hanging up.

I spoke with a scammer who identified himself as Tony from India. He was trying to obtain my personal information under the pretense of offering a scam related to free door seals. This appears to be another typical scammer with dishonest motives.

This number keeps calling relentlessly, trying to sell solar products. I might answer out of boredom just to toy with them for a while. It's a bit of payback, and I find it amusing.

This number has called me three times over the past week. I refuse to answer the calls without first checking who is calling, but I suspect it is a scam.

I receive numerous calls from this number with a similar sequence to other known scam numbers. The callers consistently ask if I have solar panels and mention government rebates for solar panel installation. I've informed them multiple times that I already have solar panels and requested them to stop calling me. It's incredibly frustrating and annoying to deal with these persistent callers.

This number keeps calling me repeatedly. I have not answered any of their calls, but they continue to persistently contact me.

I keep receiving phone calls regarding solar rebates, but I consistently choose to hang up. This caller has been persistent and I find it bothersome.

I received a call from this number, and when I tried to call back, I was informed that the mobile number has been disconnected. Extremely confusing!

I was expecting an important phone call, so I answered this one. Unfortunately, I could not understand anything the caller was saying. I apologized and explained that I couldn't understand, after which the caller simply hung up on me.

The caller did not leave a voicemail at 4:37 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

I encountered the same problem as before, where someone with an Indian accent was saying something unclear. When I asked who they wanted to talk to, they just hung up! It's becoming incredibly annoying!

I just had a missed call from this number it went to voice mail n they hanged up didn't leave a message.

I received a call about solar panels, which I am not interested in and do not own, so I hung up. I’m on the Do Not Call Register, but it seems to make no difference. I've submitted a new report for this number, as it's quite frustrating to deal with these unsolicited calls.

The caller was discussing federal solar rebates and asked if I was the homeowner. I informed them that I was renting and immediately hung up, as it felt off.

I have this number blocked, yet it still called me again today. This raises concerns about the effectiveness of the blocking feature, as these nuisance calls continue to get through.

I received a call from a scammer who spoke with a foreign accent and was attempting to obtain my personal details.

This number seems to be associated with a scammer operating under the guise of an Australian named Tony, but in reality, he appears to be an Indian scammer.

Rang more then 10 times. Scam.

This caller appears to utilize different phone extensions; if you block one number, they'll simply call you from another.

I missed a call from this number. When I returned the call, I received a message stating that the number is not connected, which raises my suspicions that it is a scam. I recommend blocking this number.

This number has called me four times today, and it's definitely a scam. I use a phone screening app for these calls, but it's becoming very annoying to keep dealing with this caller.

The caller sounded of Indian descent and hung up immediately when I inquired about their identity.

I have received two unsolicited calls from a Victorian Government call center located in India. It's frustrating to be disturbed like this.

I just received a call from the number (03) 9063 4569, but when I called it back, I heard a message that said, "Optus regrets the number you dialed has been disconnected." This means the ID number is likely a fake, making it impossible to return the call.

This number called my mobile, but it’s not in my contacts, so I didn’t answer. Two minutes later, the same number called my wife’s phone but didn’t leave a message. Be cautious, as this seems like a scam call.

I have been receiving multiple calls from numbers starting with 03 9063, with each number varying slightly. It's becoming increasingly concerning.

I received a call from (03) 906 - 4564 earlier today, and I have decided to block this number along with a few others that seem suspicious.

This was an unknown number that called me. They did not leave a message. I suspect it's a scam, so I have chosen to block it.

The call had the typical pause and beeping noise that suggests it's a telemarketer. When the caller eventually spoke, they already knew my name, which raised my suspicions. I immediately hung up and searched the number online. I’m glad I did, as it confirmed my worries.

Tonight, I answered a call from someone named Sam, who asked, “Is this Mr. xxxxxxxx?” in a strong Indian accent. When I inquired about who he was and where he was calling from, he abruptly hung up.

I have been receiving hang-up calls from the number (03) 9063 4569. They don't stay on the line.

Unusually, this one had 6 rings before stopping instead of 3 to 4. No message left & my phone identified it as Spam. They're using sequenced numbers Australian 03 (Melbourne) 906 to make it look like a real number then they're using sequenced numbers eg 34567.8.9 various. These are generally computer generated from my personal experience.

This call was unusual, as it rang six times before stopping, instead of the typical three to four rings. No message was left, and my phone identified it as spam. The number appeared to be part of a sequence, showing as an Australian 03 (Melbourne) number, but it used a series of computer-generated numbers, which I suspect are automated calls.

I received a call from someone inquiring about a scheme I am supposedly "qualified" for. When I mentioned that I have gas hot water heating, the caller abruptly hung up. This type of solicitation is frustrating, as it seems to exploit government rebate programs while inflating costs.

A caller named Matthew claimed to be from the ACT government. However, I told him that he sounded suspicious and did not seem like a 'Matthew' at all. He abruptly hung up after that.
