Sick and tired of these people calling - they just hang up.
This is the third time I have been contacted by 0390284211. First was by a very english titled, Susan Ross who had a very distinct accent. No crime there.
She arranged a visit by an electrician to install the LED lights.
Two subsequent calls followed from James! Again very distinct accent. First to verify the first call and reconfirm the visit by the electrician. On the planned day nobody arrived, then James rang again to say sorry the electricians car had an accident!. Could he reschedule the visit. I said that I had tried to Google his project and he garbled off a vic. Govt website. I await the phone call on Monday??? Is it legit? What is he gaining here if it is all bogus???
Yes ditto... Ruined my day waiting for this wonderful free installation of LED lights... Never to arrive..... Where do we report thisas a dodgy outfit and get them closed down???
I had a similar experience. The woman said her name was Susan Ross and she had a thick Indian sounding accent. She said she was ringing regarding a government scheme called Victorian Energy... Target Scheme to install free LED downlights. When I asked the details about the lights she said she would have to ask her supervisor who was currently on lunch (even though it was about 5.00pm in Victoria). She gave the company name as Green Project and stated they had an electrician in my area the next day who could install them for free and was asking what time he could come around. She asked for my personal details. I said I would ring her back and asked for her number. This is the one she gave. I did not try to ring it. When I Googled the information I could not verify it.
I received a call from Green Projects wanting to install LEDs to replace downlights in my home, under the Victorian free replacement initiative. I asked for a contact phone number and was given 03 9028 4211. When I called it rang out. I am unsure of whether this is a legit company as I cannot find any details on a Google search.
