    I will say though that the only company I have used the mobile on is Telegram to sign up to mess with anti-vaxxers. They allegedly don't sell data, but doubtful.

    Made my day. Come get me for tax fraud and whilst you're at it, get a robot to tell me. I feel bad for the elderly who could fall for something like this, I really do, but this is just absurd.

    Trying to doxx whoever is doing it as it is a brand new number and I haven't signed up to anything. When you Google it and go deep, comes up with mandarin so I'm assuming China scamming heartless pricks.

    Called twice and didn’t pick up: they left a message:

    Lawsuits filed against you and the non-bail of the arrest warrant has been issued because tax evasion and tax fraud. The moment you receive this message. ___.

    Scam - calls twice at the same time and leaves a voicemail that sounds like a robot about tax evasion and legal getting involved.

    Block and delete.

    Irritating but funny message about some legal case against me, and to press 1 for advice. Read by a zombie computer voice, and became increasingly threatening in tone towards the end. I actually laughed out loud at this one.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
