I contacted Netflix using their official 1800 support number, and later received a callback from this number. A person named Jed claimed he was assisting me with a refund, but I ended up being scammed out of $500. This needs to be reported and stopped! 😡😡

I called a number I thought belonged to Netflix (1800 595 174) and was told they would call me back. They did later from (03) 9028 3430, claiming they would refund an upgrade on my Netflix account. Instead, they attempted to scam me for $260 using Gift Australia. Fortunately, I canceled my card immediately after the call.
Saying he was from netflix & I was having trouble with my netflix account. I ended up getting scammed for $600.

I initially received a call from 1800 123 430, which claimed to be Netflix. The call had poor audio quality, leading the caller to hang up and call me back from this number. During the second call, the caller requested my credit card information under the pretense of refunding an extra charge from Netflix. Unfortunately, they ended up scamming me and charged a total of $600 to my credit card.
