I chose to decline this call on my mobile, but they left a voicemail stating, "If you are a Chinese or international student, press 2. Hello, epidemic emergency notice. For Australian nationals, press 1. If you are a Chinese or international student, press 2."

After a long pause, I heard call center background noise. The caller used my name and claimed to be from Bendigo Bank, questioning a large transfer that I purportedly attempted. I found this strange since I do not have an account with Bendigo Bank, and the caller abruptly ended the call.

I did not answer the call from this number. They did not leave a message.

I called back from another phone and got put on hold after a recorded chines message.

I did not wait.
