This number seems to be a scam. I let the call go to voicemail, and the recorded message was an automated voice claiming there were issues with my Vodafone account and urging me to call back immediately. However, I do not have any services with Vodafone.
I received a similar call where the person stated they were from Telstra and informed me they were monitoring issues with my internet connection. When I mentioned that I do not have a home internet connection, they seemed surprised and then inquired if I owned a mobile phone. After I said 'no', the representative concluded that this call didn’t apply to me.
It's a bloody Indian calling trying to convince me he's from Telstra and there's a problem with our internet. Another day and another scamming turd.
I answered and encountered someone claiming to be a Telstra employee from India, attempting to inform me about internet issues. I believe he was just trying to scam me.
