Answered it and it was an automated female robot voice telling me that my Amazon Prime membership was about to be renewed for $79 annually and if I did not want this to happen then press the keypad #1.
I hung up. I don’t have an Amazon yearly one-off auto deduct membership. Two things here, don’t respond to robot voices and don’t press keypad numbers that robots bark at you to press.
Scam don’t even have an Amazon account feel sorry for the actual owner of this phone number I think it’s being used by a third party to scam bank details or credit card details.
I didn’t answer but message left on voicemail. Message claimed to be from Amazon Prime advising AP membership is about to be renewed & to press a number to speak to a service agent if I didn’t wish to renew. I thought this was weird because my renewal wasn’t due until May 2022 it is now Oct 2021 & Amazon would have sent an email or appear as a notification in my AP account. Clearly this is a scam. Beware!
