What Our Users Reviewed
If this is indeed Wyndham Time Share then they got my number from me when I was walking past their display booth at the former DFO in Melbourne (at Southern Cross Station).
They made all these promises of free movie tickets and other such discounts and freebies, if I agreed to spend two nights at one of their resort properties.
They also ask you to sit through a two presentation while you are enjoying the' free' accommodation as a condition of receiving said accommodation.
I initially agreed to the accommodation but after reading the material (which they skimmed over very quickly so I didn't get a chance to see the detail) I decided it wasn't for me. (Way too many conditions, exclusions, etc).
Problem was they now had my phone number and called me a number of times over the course of the year.
I have just had another call from them and I will be blocking the number this time, not because I think it is a scam, but because I told them I wasn't interested and they should simply accept this and go away.
If at any time in the future I decide that I want to know more then I will call them.
Unfortunately, once they have your number it gets passed from one new phone canvasser to another in the hopes that someone will be able to sign you up.
Once you block them, that should be the end of the matter.
