Short Call from a Known Scammer

The call was short; I can confirm it was from a scammer. I was expecting an important call, so I answered. A recorded voice, which seemed to be a female, abruptly said, "Goodbye," and then hung up. When I attempted to return the call, I received a recorded message saying my call could not be connected. I've blocked the number, but I know this won’t stop them from calling again.
