They kept trying to call, over and over. Pretending to be the tax office claiming my tax file number was misused. The they wanted to know my name and asked me for my tax file number for verification purposes. When I asked her if I could verify my myself another way, she hung up on me.

I knew it was a scam all along but wanted to see how far these scammers would go. Unfortunately, they're not interested in you if you give them the info that they want.
