    Oh. You can only view people's posts if you leave a review yourself. What kind of logic is that?

    Received a phone call from a voice recording that informed me there was a case against me and they will have to arrest me if I don't call them back. Clearly spam.

    Got a call on my mobile from a computerised voice claiming to be from the ATO. Instruction was to call back very soon or an arrest warrant will be issued for me.

    Called the number back from a different number ("private number") and was greeted with a simple, yet completely unprofessional, "Hello?" (Indian female).

    I said, "Oh, hi.".

    She said, "What are you doing?" (with a tone of 'What's this about?').

    I hung up.

    Sounds like they're running multiple scams from this number and they wait for you to tell them which one hooked you. I'll call them back later when I'm not at work and have some fun with them :).

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
