    Guy with very strong Indian accent in very loud call centre said he was from Australian Tax Office. I just hung up.

    Claimed my internet was slow and had an excessive amount of files built up, wanted remote access so he could fix problem, sounded very genuine even gave me his employer ID number (TLD7003F) then Telstra’s number 132200 and finally (03) 9015 4643 if I had future problems when I hung up on him he redialed and got aggressive when I told him he was a scammer.

    As above/ below comments... Person called stating from Telstra Tech Support and wanted to fix Network system. Gave all credentials and phone numbers and address of Head Office Telstra in Exhibition St. - Even provided a direct Tech Help # to call back on, Asked to download AnyDesk and run diagnostics. Upset when I wanted to hang up and stated phone line and internet would be disconnected.
