    Same story as many here - received the call and hung up as soon as I heard the robotic voice. I'm amazed and annoyed that the perpetrators of these garbage calls aren't located and dealt with by the law. I mean.. FFS, there's a return number there !

    Just received a call from this number, I didn't answer the call, however an automated voice left a message, first part of the message was missed in recording, part of message captured said that "...there is a lot of files under your name. I want you to get back to me on my department division number.3 9013 7655, I repeat 3 9013 7655, now if we don't hear from you we will have to issue an arrest warrant in your name and get you arrested. Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you". This is clearly a scam and I will not be returning any calls!

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
