Scammer email in the junk folder asking to call about Norton product on this number.
As I use very unique email aliases for each supplier I use, I can pinpoint which supplier either got hacked, or had an issue with their IT and "lost" this piece of information for me to receive this scam email at this very unique address.
Needless to say don't open the attachment.
I found a scam email in my junk folder that requested I call regarding a Norton product using this number. Since I use unique email aliases for different suppliers, I can tell that one of them may have been compromised. I strongly recommend not opening any attachments included in such emails.
They don't try to deduct anything. They send a fake renewal bill in the hopes you will call up the number listed within it. When you do they then have you download some software in order to deal with it properly, then make out they send the money when they have you log into your bank account. In reality what they are doing is just editing the bank's page to make it look like you sent them the money and when your back is turned, by them either causing your screen to blank or by accessing your account later due to a keylogger, they empty out your account.
This number used as Help Desk for Norton Life Lock Antivirus Protection email renewal scam.
I received a scam call attempt from this number, which I did not answer. Shortly after, I got an email claiming I had enabled auto-renewal for Antivirus Premium, demanding $429. However, the official Norton website lists the typical price at only $200. I have never purchased any Norton products, so I advise caution. Do not respond, as it may put your number at risk for future scams.
Tried to deduct money from our bank account for something we did not order.
