Had a call from this number, went to message bank saying it was ANZ and a declined card transaction and to call 1300 512 426 to rectify the issue.
I received a call from someone identifying themselves as Brenda from Commonwealth Bank, which seemed familiar.
Since I usually silence numbers not saved in my contacts, I let this one go to voicemail. A robotic voice left a message claiming there were suspicious Visa transactions and instructed me to press '1'. I have since blocked this number.
The caller pretended to be named Brenda from the Commonwealth Bank. They instructed me to press buttons on my phone to stop what they claimed was a fraudulent bitcoin purchase.
This service is akin to being as helpful as an ashtray on a motorcycle – not useful at all!
Recorded message saying I was going to be billed by Amazon Prime for $99 and to speak to an operator if I didn't want to be billed............ Scammers for sure.
Just received a call from this number. Answered the call and received a pre-recorded message that there were charges on my Visa card that were suspicious. Asked me to press a number for future queries. Knew it was a scam straight away as I don't own a Visa Card.
Called my mobile, claiming to be from the Commonwealth Bank and querying overseas charges on my card. Told him I would contact the branch and sort it out, he said that only head office where he was calling from was able to investigate these transactions.

Claimed to be from National Broadband Network saying they are upgrading me to high speed fibre. He could tell me my phone number but nothing more. There's no way that fibre will come out to such a remote property, so I knew it was a scam and he hung up on me.

Hiya had already marked this number potential fraud and blocked the call. Dialled back hiding number and is constantly engaged. SCAMMER NUMBER.
Received a call yesterday at 13.46 from 03 8843 7716 while I was in a meeting and phone was on DND. No voicenmail was left. This morning I tried to call back the number but the calll would not connect and immediately failed on three attempts.
This number did not leave a message when they called. It's another scam call, so I've blocked this number as well.
