    This was a missed call so I called them back. It's an energy comparison telemarketing company. I had to be very adamant that I wasn't interested. I told them I would be adding their number to my contact list.

    The lady spoke with an Indian accent although the number is an Australian mobile number. If she is located in an Indian call centre I find this a little deceptive. No disrespect intended but I added this number to my contacts as Bozo the Clown. When Bozo calls me again I'll know not to answer.

    Another non Australian pain in the arse.

    It should be illegal to constantly harass people. If I did this to a politician what do you think would happen..!! This surely cant be considered a job.

    I've received three calls from 03 8751 8493 and only picked up two. Both of the times that I picked up the other end immediately hangs up. Block.

    Missed call on my mob. Tried calling back via a landline and got a very mechanical sounding ringtone, which rang unanswered for about a minute, before a mechanical voice said "Goodbye" and the call cut off.

    I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that this is a dodgy.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
