Got a call from this number and he asked whether I got any National Broadband Network update. He was saying that my phone line and internet will be disconnected if I do not transfer to National Broadband Network.
When I said I will check on that, he said better to check it soon. Was aggressive.
Got a call from this phone in the morning and missed it so I called back. I told the bloke politely that I am not interested in this telephone line he is marketing. And demanded that he should not call this phone as it is my work phone.
In the afternoon (same day) there was a voice message that said that the call was really important and that I Have to call back urgently as it is regarding my internet and phone line. Because I have no telegraphic memory I didn't realise this was the same number who called this morning but remembered that the company name was Telecom. Then after an automated voice answering machine replied I was asked to wait. When the telemarketer answered I asked "What is so important that I need to call you back?" His reply was that it is about my landline and Internet and was about t o discuss his sales speech when I interrupted him and said that I have no recollection that I wanted to be contacted by their office and demanded that they are not to call me again and that I will report this number to the Department of Fair Trading: it is not a threat because I am just about to do it !
I received a number of calls from this everyday. Anytime of the day even when I at work or at home. I always think it is emergency. What else do I expect! Telemarketer!!! I know. Who bothers? Sometimes important call I decided not to answer just to avoid those annoying telemarketers. Is there someone name blah, blah? Are you an Australian resident? Who are you to ask me? Are you from the Immigration? How about you? Where you calling from? Should iask you the same question? How you like that? Shut up!!! Just block this number please. Cheers.
