I introduced myself as a police officer, ethnic division of the local police station, asking the caller to send me a fax about the legal issues he was talking about. He hang up.
Scammer call pretending to authorize payment for BPAy.
The exact same thing happened to my partner just now.
I received a message from this number regarding a payment for a purchase that supposedly would go into my account. I have concerns about its legitimacy.
They left a message stating that $99.99 would be deducted from my bank account, which raised my concerns.
