    Assume spam call - called and didn’t leave a message. This number looks like many similar numbers I’ve blocked.

    Had two calls in two days from different numbers although I didn't answer either of them, both numbers on here it appears are website scammers. I have recently bought a domain but not in the last few weeks.

    This information can be collected from a public registry once you own a domain, most hosts provide an extra service to keep it secret for a cost, it's not that they are selling it, it is just the nature of domain registration.

    Just getting these types of calls all the time now. Do have a Godaddy webpage so I don't know if that's the link. No reply when I answer. I have so many blocked numbers stored now, its a joke that we have to put up with this intrusion constantly.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
