They call and leave no message and when you try to ring them back you cant get through, its infuriating and surely illegal! We haven't registered with these people so where are they getting our details from!
I have had this number calling me nonstop. They would've gotten our numbers from seek. Com I've had a similar experience from a recruiting agency advertising a job that didn't exist. I went to the information day. They said we had to do a course before their 'clients' would hire us. $2500 per person, which the government paid, and there was no guaranteed job at the end of the course.
I got a call from this number and a guy on the phone was asking about the kind of job I was looking for, because they help australian citizens to get a job. I'm not australian so the guy gave me the good luck and I don't know the rest about them.
Called at 3:33pm and once answered had a dead line for about 5 seconds then they hung up. Tried redialling and the line is busy.
As a job seeker (and student) I am thoroughly sick of these job sites you used ONCE to apply for a job reading your resume you included in that single application in order to sell your courses and services. My partner has been experiencing the exact same.
The job website "One shift" seems to be a prime culprit of this technique, I've had two calls from them one tried to sell me a business course as the position I applied for was in the field, and the other recited parts of my resume to me to try and sell an IT course based on my interests. Disgusting.
Have called me numerous times, even at ridiculous hours. It's around 7PM here, people have stuff to do, stop being a nuisance. Will be blocking their number. I'm already enrolled in a course (not through acquire) and as soon as I told them that a few months back they didn't bother and hung up. Now all of a sudden they call me sometimes 3 times a day, has been happening for almost a week now. Stop bothering people genuinely looking for employment, trying to scam them into doing courses so you get reimbursed.
It is Acquire learning. They somehow found I was looking for jobs and they have been calling me relentlessly.
They don't have jobs, they sell you over priced courses and tell you they will get you a job or it will lead you to a job. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!
The have called me at the same time for the last few days at 11:40 am I pick up and it is just silence then they hang up. The first time they called I missed it so they called the next day and it is a job recruitment line and it is a scam. Block them if they call you :).
I have received repeated calls from this number about 2 months ago. I did not answer. They have just started to call me again and I still do not answer. All reports about this number say it is a scam.
They're from acquire employment services. Just called me and hung up. Called back to get their name. They call me again and hang up they'll have a Skype bot calling their number 24/7 :) typical recruitment agency scam.
Received calls from this number on Thu afternoon, Fri morning and again on Mon morning. Answered once and they hung up. Called back and could hear voices in the background and then they hung up.
Called at around 11 at night. I answered and they hung up.

I think that either seek is selling info, or some agency puts dud jobs out there and "harvests" the data.
