When I pickup there is no answer on the other end. When I don't pickup they don't leave a message. When I call back a recorded message asks me to input a 10-digit phone number, or a 9-digit account number or my CRN number. If no number is entered the call is transferred to the next available customer service operator. The department is Collections that deal with mortgage or loan payment defaults. If you're uncomfortable calling this number, call 1800 888 410 which is the Collections number listed on the ANZ website. Although, I do have loans with the ANZ Bank the Collections department confirmed that they have not been trying to contact me using (03) 8565 0047.
