I managed to answer the first of three calls, but when I stated I couldn't talk at the moment, they hung up. Subsequently, they called twice more without leaving a voicemail.
I received a call from a man with a very thick accent regarding my electricity service. When I mentioned I didn’t have time for the call, he transferred me to his "supervisor." The supervisor asked me several questions, such as which electricity company I use, whether I have solar panels, and if I use any medical equipment. However, he provided me with an incorrect address, even misnaming the suburb. When he asked for my postcode to “confirm” details, I decided to hang up to avoid further trouble.
The guy on the other end calls himself Sam, from United Energy and Gas or such. Won't supply an ABN for his business, won't put me through to a supervisor, won't give an alternative phone number, terrible sales manner. I can only conclude it is a scam.
Another energy scammer with an Indian sounding accent. They don’t take a polite no for an answer. They tell you they are being polite (this lady was) but are pushy. I’m not sure how they can’t comprehend that unsolicited calls are an invasion of privacy and that persistent tactics are harassment. Worse still, multiple numbers for the same.

No idea... Trying to call me all day without leaving a message.... Many scammers these days, so it helps to leave a message if genuine.
Twice called, let it ring out both times. Messages left asking for a person by first name. Asian sounding voice. Probably trying to flog electricity!!
This was a sales call, and when I requested that they not call me again, they abruptly hung up. The call did not originate from within Australia.
