This number calls me nearly every day. They are extremely persistent, and I believe they are scammers who should be stopped immediately!
The caller, claiming to be James Lincoln from the Wine Group, is an interactive robotic telemarketer. If you ask the robot if it is a scammer or if it is just a robot, it may struggle with the question and, instead of answering, will often blame a bad line and disconnect the call.
This is an automated call! It appears they are using temporary or burner phone numbers, and I find this situation very frustrating since I have no idea how to block these calls.
I've been getting calls from various numbers associated with a wine group trying to sell wine, despite the fact that I don’t drink. I've requested multiple times for them to stop contacting me, but even after blocking them, they continue to call from different numbers.
I am extremely frustrated with persistent calls from a wine group that have been bothering me constantly since December. They use multiple different phone numbers to reach me, and I intend to report them to Telstra to request assistance in blocking these calls. Additionally, I plan to file a report with the Federal Police due to their scam-related activities. I hope they face legal charges and substantial fines for their actions.
I have received four calls from this number, which has claimed to be from Ethan in Victoria. When I blocked the calls, the next call came from the same area code (03 8400), but the last digits were different. I have not answered any of these calls and they continue despite my efforts to stop them.
The wine group, telesales.
This caller is extremely persistent and a major nuisance! They ring my phone approximately seven times without leaving any message, even though I have extended my call ring time. I receive around 20 calls a week from them, all of which I ignore. It would be great if the government took stronger action against such harassment.
This number calls regularly but consistently leaves no voicemail each time. It's most likely a scam operation. The caller ID indicates the location is Eltham, Victoria.
