What Our Users Reviewed
I just had a call from 03 83918779 - they also knew my name. A female with an Asian accent said she was doing a ten second survey for the local council I had to ask her which council which she correctly identified. She asked my age parameters which I dodged she also asked whether I was doing full or part time work. As soon as mentioned I was semi retired the phone went dead. She was also trying to get me to make Yes answers and I was aware of a scam that tries to get a person to say Yes which forms part of a dodgy agreement.
I received a call from this number just now. They knew my first name and the council I lived in and wanted to do a quick survey. I ended the call.
They say they are calling on behalf of bureau of statistics (or similar) conducting research concerning the cost of living. Knew my first name and the local government area I used to live in 3 years ago. As soon as they asked about my household income being less than $100K and me answering yes they ended the call. Probably a spoofed number, not sure what their ultimate scam is apart from data collection.
