    Trying to sell Optus 5G. Claiming they're acting on behalf of Optus. Contacted Optus and they have no idea who Unity Choice is. Indian accent and you can hear the call centre in the background.

    I need to report these people, they won’t stop calling, I’m sometimes nice, sometimes frustrated, I get multiple calls a day to my business number and it’s driving me crazy - I have no idea how they got my number.

    Asking about our National Broadband Network services Accent, but said he was in Melbourne Wanted to know our provider and was rather stroppy when I wouldn't answer his questions. I asked several times the business he was calling from and when I insisted, he just hung up.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
