The caller posed as an NBN provider but only knew my name and then guessed which internet provider I use. When I questioned their lack of information, they abruptly hung up. I called back only to be told their office hours were from 9 AM to 6 PM, which doesn't align with their 8 PM call time. This seems to be a group of lazy scammers trying to take advantage of unsuspecting users.
This number called me twice tonight, and the calls appeared to originate from Craigieburn.
Missed first call, answered next time. Man asked if I was Diane. I asked who I was speaking with..... ‘something ? Savings’..... I’m not interested thank you, bye (hang up, block).
Spam caller - I didn’t answer but other sites say call is regarding electricity & bitcoin :o.
Twice in 2 hours - insisted I could get a bonus and better electricity rates - very difficult to understand and got aggressive about me saving money when I said I wasn't interested.
1st call - hangup after answering.
2nd call -.
Random indian lady called wanting to discuss my electricity bill.
I advised that they were not my provider and they went silent.
Sounded like a home call, male voice and kids talking in the background. So I hung up on them.
Revived a few calls from this number, no message left and when called back it goes straight to call failed.
Got three calls within 1 hr on 10 Aug 2020. Hangs up the moment I answer.
