What Our Users Reviewed
Received a call from 03 8362 3061. Caller provided me with a name, return phone number and reference number. Told them I was not authorised to provide any information to them, continuously tried to take my own name and details. Looked up DnB and found several cases of phishing and money laundering. Will not be calling back.
Just received a call with a 001 international number. Have dealt with Dunne and Brad Street before (think they've called through in the past) so at least its not a random company name.
Same info as others - telling me they've got someone who urgently wants to do business with us so already skeptical. Was give (03) 8362 3061 as a number to call back on.
Phoned our business claiming to be Dunn & Bradstreet & requesting company details/contact for a certain company. Tried phoning back at a later stage and found you get the Dunn & Bradstreet message, then phone cuts out. Be vigilant giving out any information.
I missed a call from an American number. A message was left saying they were from Dunn and Bradstreet and wanted to talk to me urgently as they had someone who was interested in doing business with me. Gave a number for me to quote as well as an 03 83623061 for me to phone. DELETE!
Purports to be from Dun & Bradstreet, have informed legitimate company. Be wary as it appears all comments on here are being monitored and then put into play by this person/agency. Number will more than likely be changed now, most definitely a scam with a great deal of effort in conversation and email set-up with some simple grammatical and spelling errors which highlight its illegitimacy.
Don't believe the email, they're easy to fake. This sounds like a straight out scam.
Ask them for proof (I.e. whats my last name? How do you spell it? Where did you get this phone number from etc.).
Don't hand over any information, including your last name. They asked for mine and I wouldn't provide it.
Ask for a phone number to call back on if still unsure. The number they provided didn't match the D&B website.
Got a call from this number this morning but came up as an american number with +1 at the beginning.
The woman preceded to ring back twice after I told her we weren't interested.
WHY use international call centres that don't even speak english as a first language and then try to disguise them as an american call centre AND from a alleged australian company.
Can verify it is D&B, I had them send me an email to verify.
Scam call? Didn't give the usual 'this call will be recorded etc' message like Dun & Bradstreet do - very suspicious.
Purports to be someone called "Lina" from Dun & Bradstreet... The voicemail sounded very suspicious so didn't call back.
Chasing after the boss, trying to sell unnecessary products and possible scam.
