03 8358 0000: Legitimate Call from NAB or a Scam?

I received a legitimate call from NAB (National Australia Bank). They were following up with customers regarding their banking experience. It happened to be perfect timing for me because I wanted to inquire about lowering my interest rate, and they were able to assist me immediately. The change was reflected in my banking app the very next day.

I received a call from NAB's home loan department, which was part of their outreach efforts to see if they could assist with my loan situation. They were simply trying to maintain contact with customers.

After picking up this call, it was evidently a scam. The caller repeatedly identified herself as being from "National Australia Bank," using my first name and inquiring about selling my property. I chose not to continue the conversation and blocked the number. When I tried to call back, the line wouldn't connect.

Although this caller did not leave a voicemail, the True Caller app identified the number as a Scam associated with NAB. I attempted to return the call while blocking my number, but the line was continuously busy. Given the history of reports on Reverse AU, I believe this might be a scam, so I thought it was important to share, especially since there haven't been any recent comments since 2021.

This number belongs to the NAB refinancing department. Ever since I started refinancing my loan from NAB to another bank, they have been incessantly calling me, which is quite annoying.
