What Our Users Reviewed
Yep - some garbage scam line. When I called the number back, it was an automated message talking about 'bargains' for your home electricity - my home electricity account is not in my name. So onto my blocked list this number goes. I'm getting quite the collection...
Oh... And if you listen to the whole message, it gives you the option to opt out and have your name taken of their list. But it wouldn't let me do it, as I'd called through on a silent number... Message said I need to call through with a valid number displayed. Of course I would, cos then they would know my number is an active number that they can harass... I'm sure they have no plans to take anyone's number off their list! So don't fall for it... Best not to answer the call at all.
Called didn’t leave a message, assuming spam call.
Unsolicited call - did not pick up.
The report tagged as 371415 details an unsolicited telemarketing call from a company named Unique Offer, which has not provided additional context or details about their offer.
The caller pretended to be from AGL but provided the wrong account holder's name and did not have our address. Although they sounded convincing, when I questioned them about AGL's tariffs, they could not provide accurate information, indicating it was a scam to sell 'benefits.'
I received a call from this number at 7:30 PM in Sunbury, VIC, but they did not leave a message. When I called back, it went straight to an answering machine.
I suspect this call to be a scam because there was no follow-up message or call after it. It didn't seem to be from a friend or any legitimate business.
