I'm starting to wonder if the do-not-call register even works. This number has called me 13 times in one day. Each time I answer, there's a loud buzzing sound and the call ends abruptly, which is incredibly annoying.
The caller claimed to be from Amazon security. When I expressed skepticism and suggested they may not be legitimate, they hung up immediately. I have now blocked this number, as it was quite frustrating to deal with.

The call took a long time to connect, and when it did, a male with a heavy Asian accent stated that he was calling from PayPal about a recent transaction. However, my last transaction with PayPal was nearly five years ago, making this call suspicious.

Claimed to be from Telstra. We don’t deal with Telstra so knew it was instant BS. Cussed me out then hung up on me.
Called asking for me by name (first and last name) saying they were from Commenwealth bank. I told them I wasn't with Commenwealth and they asked who I was with. I told them I wasn't going to disclose that information and they hung up on me. Called back and the call failed so blocked the number.
I received a call from someone who addressed me by my first and last name, claiming they were calling from Commonwealth Bank. I informed them that I am not a customer of their bank, and when I refused to disclose my current bank information, the caller hung up. When I tried to call back, I couldn't reach anyone.
