Rang back & was addressed as ‘Mr’ Karen. Government rebate for hot water system. Extremely poor English. Hung up on me after I told him it wasn’t my property so could he remove my mobile number from his list.
I received a call from a scammer who spoke with a foreign accent and was trying to phish for my personal details. Please be cautious and do not engage with this type of caller.
I answered and said hello. After a couple seconds a surprised voice said hello…. Hello so I said hello? They said hello so I hung up.
The caller hung up after 2 seconds. No one was speaking on the other end of the phone.
Called back, was unwanted call with wrong name asking if I was renting or a home owner.
I answered the call after several rings, and we exchanged greetings three times before I decided to hang up. I believe the caller was surprised that I picked up the phone.
