Was contacted by “Amazon” twice today, once from this number and also from a UK number. Sounded like the same call centre both times.
A man with Indian accent called from Amazon regarding iPhone order and its fraudulent payment.
I said I don’t have Amazon account and asked him if he was calling from India. He said he is from Amazon in India. He forgot he was calling from Melbourne so I just hung up.
The usual delhi dialers.
I received an automated call from what claimed to be ‘Visa / Mastercard’ administration, indicating that there was a charge made on my card.
I received a voicemail about a cryptocurrency credit card charge of $500, and I was prompted to press 1 or 2. The message ended with an extremely loud banging sound, which adds to my suspicion that this is a scam.
This number contacted me claiming there was a $900 AUD charge for a gift card purchased through PayPal. They instructed me to press 2 to speak with an operator about the unauthorized transaction. I recommend hanging up and blocking this caller to avoid potential scams.
The caller informed me that my Visa card transaction could not be completed due to it being flagged as suspicious. However, I do not own a Visa card and have never engaged in cryptocurrency investments.
Had this number just call with a thick Indian accent from a noisy call centre claiming to be Telstra calling about my internet bill. Poor bloke hung up on me when I said that "I don't believe for a minute you're calling from Telstra" lol.
Missed call rang back ‘failed call’ scam.
Called me, and left a VM, said 'hello, hello, hello, hello, hello?'

I answered and he said he was from eBay, something to do with a gift card for $499 and he needed my details because something to do with a fraudulent transaction. I kept him going for a while and then started laughing and before he hung up, I got a ‘f*k you bitch’. I win.
SCAM. Said from bank etc.
Had a call from the "Amazon Security Desk" about an iPhone order. Then sent a OTP. Hung up after a bit of back and forth.
Tried to tell me they were from ANZ but sounded like they were reading from a script. Very thick accent. I wasn't born yesterday and won't fall for things like that.
