Claimed to be from PayPal. A few minutes earlier I had a text from PayPal saying I had requested a password change request, so these scammers were tying to get hold of the 2FA code for that request.

He was in a hurry and asked you to put the phone on speaker and turn on your laptop. Firstly, I don't have bitcoin. Secondly, there was an urgency to act. And thirdly why would I have to turn on my computer and put my phone on speaker? When I told him that I would verify his number and the incident myself, he hung up.
