A scammer claimed to be from "The NBN" and told me they had detected an issue with my modem. The conversation included a lot of nonsensical information, which led me to believe it was a scam.

The caller informed me that my phone service would be cut off, which sounded like a scam to me. I considered this an obvious time-waster, so I hung up and subsequently blocked the number.

Caller was a scam - proposing to be from some consulting firm, calling childs new phone number.

Its a scam. An automated message (red flag) saying announcing they are from a phone company (which I don't have a phone number with, also a red flag) telling me there is "an abnormal situation with your phone" (also a red flag, no telecommunications company calls to tell you that). I didn't bother listening to the rest because they we're wasting my time and I don't have patience or tolerance with scum bag criminals and crooks. Hang up on them. Block the number. Nice try morons.
