What Our Users Reviewed
I experienced something similar just a couple of days ago. While you were lucky to avoid scams, I unfortunately had my card drained of all its cash by them.
Said they were from PayPal and for being a loyal customer.(That was when I hung up as I don't use PayPal.)
Left what sounded like a recorded message saying they were from PayPal. Sounded robotic. Told an amount would come out and to ring back or press 1 to cancel.
An automated female voice left a message on my voicemail claiming to be from Paypal. The message mentioned a $299 transaction linked to my account and instructed me to press 1 on my mobile phone to stop the payment. I ignored the message as I believe it is spam and may pose the risk of installing a virus if I engage with the call. I have since blocked the number.
